I do so enjoy reading your newsletter and the case studies.

You tried to help me with my mare some time ago with her very unusually troublesome leg.

It turned out to be an auto-immune problem where the skin just does not restore itself back to a normal condition. With an holistic vet, my own Bowen treatments and various homeopathic products she is a lot better ( she is thank god not lame) but it will be a long journey.

I still use Traumeel gel on her leg every other day and believe it helps to support the skin.

I slipped & fell hard on ice, slamming down backwards on my back and having the breath knocked out of me.

I was only minutes from my home, and once able to drive, I went straight home and started taking Traumeel tablets (one every hour).

I was quite sore most of the day, and although I knew nothing was broken, I would moan every time I moved from pain. I was stiff this morning upon waking, however, with continued use of the tablets, I feel quite a lot better, and much less sore & stiff.

I know without Traumeel (natural painkiller), I would be in agony. I am so thankful that I had this remedy on hand!!!!

How I have Used Traumeel with Everyday Football Knocks and Injuries

I have been using Traumeel for football injuries for about 6 months and my brother for nearly as long. I frequently end up with bruises, sprains and injuries at the end of every week’s football practice.

I was recommended Traumeel by my family physician. I am sure I have used it enough to believe in its effectiveness and it really helped me deal with these injuries.

How we Dressed this Wound

We cleaned the injury and then applied a dressing onto the wound. On the dressing we put Traumeel Gel and Manuka Honey. The manuka honey prevents the dressing from drying up and sticking to the wound which if this happens just delays healing as the soft new skin which is growing gets broken when you come to change the dressing if it is allowed to stick to the dressing

So by having Manuka honey with Traumeel Gel this prevents this from occurring.You need to be quite generous with the amount of honey you use.

Maggots

With this Horse Injury when we came to change the dressing the wound was completely clean, however, interestingly, where the dead skin was lying there were a bunch of maggots eating it away.

Once I had got over the initial shock of finding this, I was able to appreciate how they had eaten up the dead skin surounding the injury. They were outside, just on the edges where the dressing lay, as a result it was all clean along the edges, where normally you would have had old dry skin. Nature had done its job.

Results

The wound healed up perfectly with minimal scaring, far better than if it had been stitched.

When a local vet saw this horse a few months later he could not believe how good the scar was, it was like a very fine line hardly visible.

Why? Well it’s so obvious I use it a lot! From knocks to bruises, spots and blemishes, actually everything. Even when on holiday, as I found it fantastic for Mosquito bites to sunburn.

After growing up being around homeopathic treatments like Echinacea and calendula and seeing them work for a lot of different reasons and then to find a cream/gel/ tablet that contains all the best ingredients, all in one, is the obvious ideal.

I was introduced to Traumeel through working with horses as looking after 10 of them you tend to get the odd knock and cut but Traumeel soon sees all of these things quickly on the road to recovery.

I’ve never really put my trust in any one thing before, as I believe different treatments work for different people but I would recommend Traumeel to everyone, it not only aids healing a lot quicker but soothes anything sore instantly.

If you’re thinking “well I’m not accident prone I don’t need anything like that”, you’ll be surprised how much you’ll end up using it. I’ve recently got into gardening and find it’s another essential item I need to take into the garden with me, along with my hoe and fork. Its fantastic for stinging nettles and scratches from thorny plants, actually anything that hurts plus its waterproof too.

I found this out on holiday, as my husband seemed to attract the mosquitoes and was covered in bites, so out came the Traumeel, which was even better than the anti sting/itch cream that you could buy. Our concern was, having to constantly reapply it after going into the sea or pool, but it turns out its waterproof and stays on, continuing to work even when you are wet.

I have just moved from a flat to a house and I now realise I’m going to need to have two lots of Traumeel, one downstairs and one upstairs as it always seems to be in the wrong place just when I need it and my husband has also realised the wonders of Traumeel so I may even need to buy a third!!

Ripped Flesh Under Jaw and Traumeel. This is my own story. The healing was so dramatic and effective I felt it was worth writing up.

Our Foal

I had had an early start and Laura who has worked with me now for a long time was checking our horses. To her horror she found Rock & Roll, our colt, had during the night somehow ripped his skin under his jaw and it was just hanging down.

She cleaned it up with Eliminator and waited for me to treat it. We liberally applied the Traumeel Gel which we had mixed with Manuka Honey. It was a messy wound. We were not able to bandage it as it would have meant his mouth would have had to have been bandaged closed. We then gave him Traumeel Tablets.

24 hours later the wound was looking clean and you could see fine new tissue coming through. The previous day the wound had been quite smelly but within hours of applying the Traumeel and Manuka Honey it smelt clean and there was no infection.
The flapping piece of skin eventually dropped off.
We continued to treat him and apply the Traumeel and Manuka Honey, although I found it disturbed the tissue less if I only applied it once a day.

We were able to leave him outside grazing and the wound is healing beautifully.

These two remedies have helped me in so many cases, I would never not keep them in stock.

We never found anything which explained how he had injured himself – it almost looked as if he had torn it with his own hoof.

The advantage of the honey and Traumeel is you end up with so little scaring and you can treat them yourself, a huge plus.
